New parents have 21st century technology on their side during those exciting and nerve-racking 40 weeks of pregnancy. I love how around 20 weeks depending on your doctor and if your growing baby cooperates you can know the sex of your child way in advance to them being born.
Eddy and I are one of those parents that has to know.
I cannot lie, a part of me wanted a girl just so I could have someone to be a princess with and have tea parties with but when they told us we were having a healthy baby boy I WAS NOT SAD. I just got overwhelmed!
Boys are such high energy and always on the go. Babyboy started walking at 10 months and was running by his 1st birthday and in turn I have been after him ever since. I am one of three girls so when we found out I was having Babyboy the first time around, I was nervous because I only knew about pink princesses, tea parties and Barbies. Two and half years later, I am quite familiar with the boy world of cars, trucks and sports.
Like all parents know, you juggle and figure things out as you go. No matter what I will figure out how to wrangle two boys instead of one and Ava (our girl hotdog) and I will have to be the only Princesses in the family. ; )
I love the fact that Babyboy will have a best friend/sparring partner
for the rest of his life and I can’t wait to introduce to you all the next member of our family when he arrives. This week is the start of my third trimester! Time is flying!
