Valentine’s Day means a lot of things to a lot of people. To me I love the idea of celebrating the people you love with a token of affection like a lover letter, their favorite candy or a back massage.
So I asked some of my blogger friends a pure and simple question, “what do you love?”
Onica: “I love Daniel, chocolate and anything techie and of course Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.”
Suzanne: :I love being a blogger, I love being a nurse, a student, a wife, a daughter … but most of all I love being a Mom.”
Karen: “I love watching the pride in my child’s face as she successfully rides her bike around the parking lot. She knows you can’t accomplish anything without practice, and she is trying hard to balance without her training wheels. Oh, and I love sharing a fluffernutter (a childhood favorite of mine) sandwich for lunch with my daughter on a weekend afternoon.”
Joscelyn: “I love spending quality time with my family and extended family. I am the youngest of four and was born at a later stage in my parents’ lives so its important for me that my children create memories and appreciate their grandparents. Being able to enjoy each other is one of the most joyous and simplest pleasures life can offer.”
Ruby: “I love when my kids ask me for a kiss or hug”
Brenda: “I Love Romance, Flowers, Dark Chocolate and Mexican Serenatas.”
Eddy: “My family.”
Divina: “I love the sweet moments in life like the one pictured above or on Saturday or Sunday mornings when my king size bed is overrun with Gabor and Ava our wild pups, Rock and X our growing boys and I turn to Eddy and say, “Can imagine 11 years ago when you asked me out it would lead to this?” My heart is filled for the love I have for my family, my parents, my in-laws and my friends who make each day a wonder. Ooh and I love champagne and gorgeous expensive purses.”
