For Dads: Jose Cuervo Mural Project 2012

One of the things I really love to hear is about big companies helping out Latino’s achieve their dreams.  One of the latest cases of this come from Jose Cuervo.  Last week, Jose Cuervo announced the  launching  of the Tradicional Mural Project 2012.

The project is Jose Cuervo way of encouraging Latinos to celebrate their heritage through art, more specifically murals.  The campaign is inviting artists over the age of 21 to compete for the opportunity to win $15,000 by submitting an original mural painting inspired by their passion for Latin culture.   In addition, Jose Cuervo will be donating $15,000  to a Latino arts and cultural organization on behalf of the winner as well as display the top 10 murals in an artistic public venue such as a gallery or museum through out the United States.

This is being sponsored in part by the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) who will also be providing judges to determine the winner of the competition.

For more information on the Jose Cuervo Tradicional Mural Project check out the  Jose Cuervo Tradicional’s Facebook page  or the NALAC page.

 As always, please drink responsibly!
