For Dads: Lowe’s Window Box Project-Finale

So here it is completed.

I will have to say that it isn’t a bad job for a beginner, though I did have a couple of growing pains.

More specifically:

•          Don’t paint over newspaper, it might be good for pre-school projects unfortunately, paint tends to stick on the paper resulting in having to sand off the glued pages on the wood.
•          Wood warps in humid weather…plan accordingly
•          Stain is best applied with a rag or sponge; brushes just make it look like you painted with brown paint.
