Eddy and I are back home after a wonderful weekend with General Motors and MomTrends where not only did we get a chance to try out a 2012 Chevy Cruze (Our thoughts post to follow) first hand all weekend on a road trip to Hershey, PA. We were also treated to tickets to Hershey Park where we got to get a little taste of how appreciative and hard working the Chevy brand are to their customers.
Check out the video with Bill a GM manager with details on the day and their “Love It or Return It” campaign.
Yes, you heard correctly during the Chevy Appreciation days at Hershey park current Chevy owners not only get free tickets to the park but a chance to drive all the brand new models for Chevy WITHOUT THE SALES PITCH!
It was awesome!
Eddy and I tried out some fun cars like corvettes and a “green” alternative with the Chevy Volt. They also had a closed in tent where you could get into the cars and find out more information AGAIN without a sales pitch!
To be honest, I have never owned a Chevy before so getting this opportunity to test out and drive cars was fun. The GM representatives at the event where very knowledge and had me considering a Chevy when we need a new car for Eddy. Especially with their new Love It or Return It guarantee and I quote,
“We’re so confident you’ll love your new Chevy, we’ll give you up to 60 days to make sure of it with our new Love It or Return it Guarantee. Buy any 2012 or 2013 Chevy, and if you’re not happy, you can bring it right back. Needless to say, we’re pretty confident you won’t want to let it go. That’s Chevy Confidence. Must return between 30-60 days. Mileage and Damage limitations apply. Excludes leases. Excludes GM and Dealer Employees. See website for all terms, conditions and other details.”
Chevy is having another Chevy Appreciation day at Hershey Park later in the month. Test and Drive and the Chevy tent are open to all Hershey Park goers so if you are in the area definitely stop by.
Thank you for the opportunity Chevy and MomTrends. We had a wonderful time!
Disclosure: I attended Hershey Park as guests of Chevy and MomTrends and received complimentary tickets to the park, hotel accommodations and a Chevy Cruze for the trip. As always my post is my unbiased opinion on the event.
