Reaching for the stars!!! #disneyontheroad #fashforward

I have over eight years of marketing experience and a Masters in Communications but my last day in Corporate America was September 9, 2011.  I celebrated my one year anniversary in shock and happiness in the accomplishment Eddy and I had completed.

In that one year, I not only started Trumpeting Media LLC with some amazing women, partnered with some amazing companies with Dancing Hotdogs.com AND had the flexibility and joy of spending more time with my amazing and unstoppable little men.

Even though I no longer drive into work each day that DRIVE to succeed and reach for the stars is still there and over a week ago I not only attended one but TWO super empowering conferences where I got to listen to some amazing speakers on taking any endeavor I undertake to the next level.

First, I attended the Disney Social Media Moms “On-the-Road” Celebration that put together an amazing line up of successful and super empowered female business owners. 

My favorite quotes and advice were:

Then I attended the Fashion Forward conference by the brilliant women of Getting Gorgeous and MomTrends who have put fashion and style at the forefront of everything they do especially business. There were two exciting business panels and two fashion shows.

My favorite quotes and advice were:

Lyss Stern CEO of Diva Moms said “do not take no for an answer to your dreams.”

Marissa Thalberg, Head of Digital Marketing at Estee Launder and Founder of Executive Moms,  said “if you see a need be the solution.”

I took some valuable information from that day and realized if you are smart, hard working and passionate about whatever you are working on you will succeed!
