One of the things I dislike about new shows is missing the first few episodes of the series. To me they are most crucial in learning about the main characters and it gives you the opportunity to really start getting into the history and back story of characters before things get way too complicated. Here is a quick breakdown of the first few episodes of the show:
Episode 1: We meet our main characters Raúl Ávila, a police officer fresh from cadet school and seemingly ready to take on all the harden criminals in Columbia, he is partnered with Diana Ochoa a hard no nonsense colleague who has taken pains to keep others from getting too close, too bad he has started to fall in love with her.
Episode 2: Raúl finds out exactly who was responsible for the murder of his father, the same murder that pushed him into becoming a police officer. Diana is held hostage and forces Raúl to think fast in order save her.
Episode 3: Raúl struggles with the mysterious past crisis that has plagued Diana, as he investigates Raúl finds that Diana has build up walls around her past that even he cannot penetrate. Yet, he is forced to put that search aside as a kindergarten class is taken hostage which also has Diana’s child. Raúl and Diana must work very carefully to ensure that they end this threat as fast as possible while saving everyone’s life.
