(Video) Power Rangers Super Samurai Play Date

Next week is Halloween and this emPOWER Mom powered up

 her Halloween 2012 by hosting a Power Rangers Super Samurai Play date!  It was so easy! I just went to www.powerrangers.com/halloween and downloaded some invites, bought some healthy snacks and invited some friends to morph into their favorite superheroes and join the fight against the forces of evil with the new Power Rangers Super Samurai costumes.

The kids LOVED the costumes! A couple of them like Rock refused to take off the costumes throughout the whole play date.

I love Halloween but as an emPOWER mom I am so happy that not only do the Power Rangers make Halloween fun with affordable costumes ($24.99 to $29.99) that are bright and easy to see on a dark night. But they also value the importance of having a safe Halloween by giving parents tips on how to make your Halloween safer with this fun video.

The Power Rangers has also partnered with Spirit Stores to sell Power Rangers costumes and FREE Power Rangers reflective safety bracelet with any donation to Spirit Halloween’s “Spirit of Children” program that supports children’s hospitals across the country.

I asked the kids for tips on having a safe Halloween and they recommended:

• Check your candy before eating it
• Have a buddy
• Carry flashlights
• Trick or Treat in neighborhoods you know

My number one safety tip?  If your loved one is wearing a mask like the Power Rangers Super Samurai mask make sure they can see.  If not go for face paint or cut bigger eye holes!
