For Teens and Dads check out Eddy’s Guide here.
To be honest, getting gifts for other especially Dads is not easy. Personally, I am not one to wake up early for Black Friday and get my Christmas Shopping done early. That is why I created this short list. These are gifts for Dad and Men 18+ that aren’t costly and are quick and easy to find. I can almost guarantee that they will never be out of stock as well!
Auvio Wireless Headphones– These headphones are cost effective; easy to find at RadioShack and work surprisingly well. In addition, this is a god send for families that have kids who like to play loud music or parents who want to watch TV without waking others. Price: $70.
HDMX Jams Bluetooth speaker-A cute little speaker that packs a huge punch, Jams have a great range and can connect to almost anything with a Bluetooth signal. They very easy to set up, and are ready right out of the packaging. In addition, they come in cool little Jam Jar packaging, my favorite being Strawberry Jam. Price: $50.
House of Marley Headphones-A great alternative to all those other star branded headphones, House of Marley uses a large amount of natural products such as woods and recycled metal and plastic while also creating highly durable and high quality sound. On top of that all, a percentage of proceeds is given to the One World Foundation. Price $30-$200 depending on style.
CB Gitty-Kits– CB Gitty has two different DIY kits one for a Cigar Box amplifier and another for a Cigar Box Guitar. Each kit gives you almost everything you need to complete the project (with the only exception being the neck of the guitar). For the music lover and Do it yourselfer, these kits are super inexpensive ( around $30) and are cool for Dads and kids that are into building projects or something that can be done as a team project.
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth: A fast and fun Xbox Kinect game that includes all the great character we all know and love with the ease of play for both kids and adults to enjoy. This is definitely the game I keep on coming back to play with Rock when he want to have a little video game time. I still have a losing record against him. Price: $50.
Dance Central 3– Another Kinect game, but more for the whole family. As a Dad, I am always on the lookout for some sweet new moves. Dance Central has certainly added a bit to my repertoire and has me sweating and moving always a good think for keeping the pounds off. Price: $40.
Whiskey Rocks– Just like the name says these are rocks which when put in a freezer and then dropped in a tumbler of whiskey cool the liquor down without diluting it like ice does. This allows the drinker to taste all the wonderful complexity of the drink. This is perfect for someone looking into getting to learn more about whiskey, as well as adding a whole new meaning to “on the rocks”. Price: $20+.
Glencairn Glass– Another wonderfully inexpensive but thoughtful gift, when you think about it wine has its own special glass and so does beer so why can’t Scotch have one too. Specially designed to promote all the best qualities of scotch from the color to the nose, these are the glasses you see when taken special scotch tasting lesson in Scotland…they are the real deal. Price: $6+ depending if you buy a set.
