St. Patrick’s Day weekend is upon us and all across Ireland, the United States and the world; everyone will be getting their green on!
I know on March 17th we always celebrate with green pancakes and enjoy some Irish delicacies. For those of you who follow me on Dancing Hotdogs social media outlets (if you do not, why not? WE ARE AWESOME! ) you will know that Eddy and I had an international holiday for Valentine’s Day weekend where we headed to Republic of Ireland for an amazing experience.

Eddy and I have been to Europe before but it was our first trip to the Republic of Ireland and we just fell in love.
The Republic of Ireland or the Emerald Isle located in Western Europe is a gorgeous and lush land filled with forests, thriving farms, rocky cliffs, sweeping green hills and the friendliest people you will ever meet. The official language is English but as you can see in the video a lot of people speak Irish or Gaelic all across the country. Over 80% of the population is Irish but in recent years there has been immigration of younger people from across the world like Brazil and Australia who have come to the Republic of Ireland to learn, live and make their fortunes.
Eddy and I spent the majority of our time in Dublin, Ireland and only spent one day in the expansive countryside where we get to see a lot of the movie locations of some classics like Braveheart, Circle of Friends and P.S. I love You. With its stunning scenery and magical history of Gaelic mythology filled with fairies, Norman invasions and castles, Ireland offers everyone an international adventure.
