Disclosure: I am 2012 and 2013 Sesame Place Ambassador and they are sponsoring this giveaway but as always my post is my unbiased opinions.
It is September 4th and the allurements of Fall are just around the corner. I hope you and the family are getting back into the swing of back to school and full schedules.
If you are looking to take advantage of the last few weeks of warm weather there are still plenty of sunny days at Sesame Place! Especially since from now until October 27, 2013 you can save $10 on Elmo ticket admission which includes the 2nd visit for free or save $25 on all twilight tickets. Sesame Place water attractions are open until September 22 but if you looking for some family friendly rides check out our video.
Sesame Place Rides include:
Big Bird’s Balloon Race
A 40-foot high balloon tower ride carries guests in one of eight balloon baskets to a bird’s-eye view of the park. Choose a favorite Sesame Street character basket and get ready to soar high into the sky.
Strap yourself into a UFO (Unidentified Furry Object) and ride through the stars to Planet Elmo. Launch into laughter as you bounce up to the sky and back down to earth.
Elmo’s Cloud Chaser invites families to join Elmo for a spin up into the sky, where the clouds are as close as their imagination. This family swing ride is another great addition to the park’s Elmo’s World section, which currently features Peek-A-Bug, Blast Off and Flyin’ Fish.
You and a friend can hop on the fins of an Elmo fish as it swims its way up and down through an imaginary ocean.
Spin and slide from side to side on the back of a beaming bug in the garden where Elmo plays.
Take a trip around the world with Grover and friends on this internationally themed teacup ride. Okay, maybe not around the world, but you will go around and around and around and around…
Jump on the Sunny Day Carousel! It’s a cute, colorful, carousel ride that’s perfect for anyone who likes a good go-round.
All aboard! This kid-powered railroad is a guaranteed ticket to fun and excitement for the youngest travelers in your group. Designed especially for smaller children, the “Twiddle Tracks” have been laid down and are waiting to take your child on a ride to remember.
How do you hold tight to “Vapor”? Well, find a way quick because you’re stepping onto an action-packed steel roller coaster! Looking for the perfect first coaster experience for your child? This adventure takes riders on a one-of-a-kind twisting, turning mission to the outer limits of the solar system. Or at least, it sure seems that way.
Click on ride links for full details on age and weight requirements.
Sesame Place also has Abby’s Magic Queue that allows you to purchase either one-time or unlimited opportunities to bypass the lines for certain attractions. Worth it if only going to a short time but I would recommend you take advantage of the Elmo ticket with one day free to get the most of your Sesame Place visit! Whatever you decide really cannot go wrong with any of the rides for your elementary aged or younger loved ones.
