Disclosure: I received a Barbie The Pearl Princess DVD and doll to facilitate my review. As always, my posts are based on my opinions and experiences.

In the latest adventure with Barbie™ get ready to be a mermaid who wants to rule the seven seas.

Synposis:

Barbie™ stars as Lumina™, a mermaid who dreams of being a princess.  As long as she can remember, she’s had a magical power that makes pearls dance and glow! Lumina™, and her best friend Kuda, a pink seahorse, embark on an adventure to a majestic mer-kingdom. There, she uses her powers to help her friends prepare for the Royal Ball. Lumina™ then discovers that her magical pearls are the key to unlocking her true destiny and ultimately saving the kingdom.

Is there anything Barbie™ cannot do?

I know I dreamed of being a princess and mermaid when I was younger and now your little loved one can do the same with the new Barbie™ The Pearl Princess DVD, (19.98).  The 1 hour and 14 minute movie has several musical numbers, best friend Coral, a darling pink seahorse and plenty of adventure. The computer generated animation is bright, colorful and story plot is really cute. Really cute idea of using magical pearls to save a kingdom and throw an amazing party. ; )  DVD comes in English, French and Spanish language with English subtitles. Bonus features include three music videos and Barbie™ Life in the Dreamhouse episode

To take the fun to another level there is whole new line of Barbie™ The Pearl Princess dolls to go along with the DVD.

My daughter would love this. Thank you for sharing. Fin brush makes for easier clean up too.
