Disclosure: I was invited to this Sesame Street sponsored event and am a PBS KIDS ambassador. As always my post is my unbiased opinions.
Everyone of every age has wondered, “How do you get to Sesame Street?” Well for the 10 year anniversary of Google Maps API, Google has teamed up with Sesame Street to help you explore your neighborhood.
Check out my video with James McGill.
With summer being the peak time for families to hit the road for adventure AND with more and more kids learning how to code at an early age this was a brilliant partnership by Sesame Workshop and Google.
During the event we all got to go on an imagination filled trip Alan and our favorite Sesame Street Monsters, Elmo and Abby.
As you know I LOVE traveling with my boy. It makes me so happy to see them get excited about new places, food and experiences. Like most people, I use Google Maps to get me where I want to go and I love how with the new Google Maps API capabilities my boys will get excited about not only exploring their neighborhoods but the world!
Sesame Workshop is just one of the stops on Google Maps Code the Road tour so if you see a huge Google Maps decorated bus wave hello and get excited for the future of coding.
