What was the biggest surprise from our Disney Cruises FAM trip? Disney cruises are not just for the kids!
Look at this happy couple! They are on a Disney Cruise Date Night!
Check out this official Fun for Everyone video from Disney Cruises
The video says it all!
While the kids are making flubber, playing in Andy’s room or dancing with Captain Mickey in the kids, tweens and teenager-ONLY areas adults of every age can enjoy their ideal vacation activities knowing the kids are having fun and are well taken care of.
Some of our favorite Disney Dream Adult Only activities:
Disney Dine and Play
Want a romantic date night filled with delicious food? No matter when you and the family are scheduled to dine, tell your waiter that you want to take advantage of the Dine and Play option. Your kids will get their meals including dessert a little quicker and then an Oceaneer Counselor picks them up from your restaurant and walks them to the Oceaneer’s lab!
Better yet, drop of the kids early and pay the additional fee to eat at either Palo, located high atop each ship, a romantic fine-dining restaurant exclusively for adults or Remy (Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy) for a premier Disney Cruise Line adult-dining option.
Serenity Bay located on Castaway Cay
A beautiful walk or bike ride from the family beaches, Serenity Bay offers pristine beaches, water activities, hammocks for two, private cabanas, and massage or yoga classes on the beach! No need to head back to the main beach for lunch or adult beverages since Castaway Air Bar has your favorite vacation drinks. No need to worry about the kids they will be digging for fossils with Mickey Mouse and friends in the shade in their own Castaway Cay kids area.
Senses Spa & Salon
Love to be pampered? Or just want to relax while on vacation? Take advantage of 17 private treatment rooms that offer an array of treatments and services like massages, facials, aromatherapy and saunas. Or how about an ocean-view workout ending with a Sense Juice Bar smoothie? The ultimate in relaxation while on vacation.
Love to dance? Know your 80s trivia or just want to sip a cocktail while having an adult conversation. Kids’ areas do not close until 12am so take advantage of The District and their evening activities. Each ship has their own Adult-only areas so make time for evening night out.
Quiet Cove pool and Cove Bar
Hidden away on the Deck 11 swim, sunbathe and enjoy your tropical paradise away from the kids.
Disclosure: The Dancing Hotdogs family were guests of Disney Cruise Lines for their #DisneyCruise #CruceroDisney FAM trip. As always, my posts are based on my opinions and experiences.
