It has been a couple of years since I was a Sesame Place ambassador and their “Go before they grow” slogan is so true! Last time we were at the park X was too little for the rides but now he was ready for the Vapor Trail. So when I was invited to their A Furry Christmas media day we jumped into the car and headed straight to Langhorne, PA for a wonderful weekend with Elmo, Bert, Ernie and Sesame Place friends.
I love the holiday celebrations at Sesame Place. When they decorate are all about the big and little details from the holiday entertainment, décor to holiday treats.
My video recap on how they are decking the halls for the 2016 Holiday Season
You saw correctly, Santa Claus has a workshop at Sesame Place!
And he is the BEST Santa! He asked questions and even had a movie quote-off with the boys! Definitely one of my favorite recent memories.
The waterpark may be closed but still plenty of rides and attractions like Sunny Day Carousel, Vapor Trail and Reindeer Games to enjoy. Just remember to bring extra patience since wait times can be long.
Cookie’s Monster Land™ was a welcome surprise. Plenty of space to jump and climb in a three-story net climb and soft play area. While the boys played Eddy and I took turns waiting in line for Captain Cookie’s High “C’s” Adventure, Oscar’s Rotten Rusty Rockets and other rides.
Other holiday attractions include A Sesame Street Christmas Show, Elmo’s Christmas Wish Show and 1-2-3 Christmas Tree! Show.
Two MUST-SEE shows and parades
Elmo the Musical – Christmas
As I mention in the video if going to see the Elmo show get there 45 to 30 minutes before the show because it is a smaller theater. Also if you have a Elmo, Rosita or Grover fan sit by main aisle for interactions with the stars.
Neighborhood Street Party Christmas Parade
As you can see in the video the parade transforms Sesame Place into a singing and dancing celebration. Really no bad spot to watch parade but remember to bundle up because when sun goes down gets very chilly.
Check Sesame Place for ticket prices, daily times, show times and additional information on attractions.
Disclosure: I was invited to a media preview of Sesame Place A Furry Christmas. As always, my posts are based on my opinions and experiences.
