Rock and X have five different devices that are exclusively theirs. With two tech-loving parents they kept inheriting new devices as Eddy and I upgraded. So when I hear that the Kaiser Foundation study found that the average eight to ten year old spends nearly 8 hours a day with various media screens, while older children spend more than 11 hours a day.
I was honestly not that surprised especially when I think of TV time and devices. As a parent I always try to teach my boys everything in moderation but when more and more studies are showing that children’s brains are being impacted by all this technology and internet and gaming addiction is on the rise, all parents have to do something!
