Toy Fair 2017 was a great experience but one of the toy brands we were super excited to see was offsite and from our video below you can see why.
Hasbro had so much going on it was impossible to be contained within one Toy Fair. That is why I had to the Times Center in order to view some of the amazing toys that they are planning to release this coming year.
Here are some the toys that caught my eye during the showcase:
My Little Pony
With the new movie coming out soon, Hasbro has been putting on the full court press with these ponies. From new characters and accessorizes to clothing, if you are a fan of My Little Pony you definitely will find something you love.
Nerf is usually known for its guns and sports related toys, Nerf Nitro represents a departure from their normal toys. instead of launching arrows or darts, Nitro allows kids to launch cars at high speed. Don’t worry, the cars themselves are made of foam so no one will get hurt. The cool thing about Nitro is setting up ramps for the cars to blast off on. Depending on which launcher from the Nitro line you use, the cars can grab serious air.
Pie Face Sky High!
We love the Pie Face line. The latest iteration brings a carnival feel as you have to use a hammer to slam the whipped cream into your opponents face. No matter what the changes are, Pie Face is a game that everyone absolutely loves.
Beauty and The Beast Toy-line
Based on the soon to be released move, this dolls are going to be a hit with children and fans alike. There is so many new toys in this line it would be impossible to tell you about them all. One of my favorites was a programmable Belle that could dance and speak.
Play-Doh Touch won a number of awards at CES in Las Vegas recently. The game involves creating characters and transporting objects and items into the game using an iPad. No matter the shape or figure, kids can take an active part in creating the characters in the game, which mixes the free form creativity of Play-Doh with video games.
