Disclosure: The Dancing Hotdogs family were guests of Morey’s Piers for a 2019 FAM trip. As always, my posts are based on my opinions and experiences.
We got one more month of Summer 2019 so why not make the most of it by visiting Morey Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey! Morey Piers has been entertaining families since 1968 and honestly this is the perfect family destination between the three amusement piers (Surfside Amusement Pier, Mariner’s Amusement Pier and Adventure Amusement Pier), two water parks (Ocean Oasis Water Park & Beach Club and Raging Waters Water Park) and special events like:
PigDog Beach Bar will be continuing its summer concert series on August 3 and August 10. Bands will rock the PigDog stage from 5:00-8:00pm. Both family and dog-friendly, PigDog Beach Bar serves-up barbecue classics, cocktails and local beers on tap. Accessible via Raging Waters Water Park, the beach, and the boardwalk, pooches and guests of all ages are invited to bask in the beachfront vibes complete with cornhole, giant Connect 4, ladder ball, and more beach games.
Additionally, the annual Doggie Dash & Splash is taking place on Sunday, September 8. Morey’s Piers, celebrating 50 years on the piers in Wildwood NJ, goes to the dogs once again with two tail-wagging events on Sunday, September 8. First up is the Doggie Dash on the beach adjacent to Raging Waters Water Park followed by a puppy pool paw-ty to close out the water park’s season. Blue Palms Resort, located steps away from Mariner’s Pier and Raging Waters Water Park, is offering pet-friendly accommodations for the canine-centric weekend. The “Doggie Unleashed” stay package starts at $143 for a standard room with a king bed. A two night minimum length of stay (Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7) is required. All reservations will include two complimentary amusement pier ride wristbands valid for three days from Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 8. Additional three day ride wristbands are available for purchase at $39.99 per person + applicable taxes.
It is a must-visit destination!
This was my first time at the Piers but from what the boys and Divina had to say from their last visit, I was expecting a good time and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed that that there was a little bit of everything for everyone. if you didn’t want to spend any money you could just go to the beach, if you want an amusement park you only need to walk 10mins to find one, if it is too hot for you another 5min walk leads you to an amazing waterpark. In only a couple of days, we had such a wide variety of experiences and through it all we had so much fun.
By far, one of my favorite things to do was going on the roller coasters. I liked how there were different types of coasters, from the extreme style sling shots all the way to a more subdued family roller coaster that is perfect for getting younger riders acclimated. unfortunately, the family roller coaster wasn’t open yet during our visit, but it is going to be one the first one we all ride together when we return.
Every time we visit Morey’s Piers we have a wonderful time because the Morey Family knows families and have perfected family fun in the last 50 years! The attractions, the rides and the games get better with every visit.
My favorites include the Ocean Oasis Water Park & Beach Club and Raging Waters Water Park because nothing says family vacation like a fun in the sun with not one but TWO lazy rivers!
I would HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of the ticket deals or buying the ride and park bracelet that gives you unlimited access to the family rides and Morey’s Piers water parks.
