From May 9 to May 12, Eddy, my little men and our friend Alex headed to sunny Orlando, Florida for seven days of learning, networking and a Disney magical time. Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA is open and ready for another season of fun so once again the DancingHotdogs.com family took to the roads for another family road trip and made the trip a weekend adventure where we stayed at the Residence Inn Philadelphia Langhorne. Check out my video of the hotel facilities with all their amenities. As you can see Rock really loved their bed. The Residence Inn is part of the Marriott family and is MADE for traveling families. The first time I learned about the Kia brand, one of the guys in my high school football team came driving down to practice in a brand new Sportage. It was the pinnacle of awesome! I still can remember that it was gold similar to the color of Champagne. Fast forward 14 years, and here I am sitting in a brand new 2014 Kia Sorento, fully decked out and top of the line. Picture this, its 1987 and five year old Divina arrives in Greenwich, Connecticut to start a new life, new school and new adventure without speaking a world of English. Again, its 1987, her elementary school has English as a Second Language (ESL) resources but it’s not like today when so many more speak Spanish. It’s a terrifying and confusing world for this usually very talkative and outgoing little girl. Enter, Sesame Street and Sesame Workshop the nonprofit educational organization that revoluntionized children’s television and taught Divina how to speak English.
