(Video) Iron Man 3 Movie Review

Iron_Man_3_theatrical_poster

While we were at Disney, I got a chance to catch Iron Man 3.  This is the first Iron Man not directed by Jon Favreau.  Instead, Shane Black the screen writer of the Lethal Weapon movies, or as I happen to know him:  one of the Special Forces guys that get killed in the first Predator movie.  Either way, he obviously brings his own flavor to the movie, emphasizing Tony Stark’s (played by Robert Downey Jr.) wit and adding a more comic feel. Check out the official trailer from Marvel If you were looking for an “Iron Man” movie then you are looking in the wrong place.  Iron Man 3 really centers on Tony Stark and his struggles outside of the famous armor. The circumstances after The Avengers movie have left him with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and he can’t seem to pull himself together.  So if you are a big fan of Robert Downy Jr.  then you are going to get your dollars’ worth.  As he is forced for most of the movie to fight his way through bad guys like the Mandarin … [Read more...]

(Video) He Said,She Said 2014 Kia Sorento Review

Kia Dancing Hotdogs

Image courtesy of Kia Disclosure: We received a loaner 2014 Kia Sorento for one week for review purposes as always our post is our unbiased opinions on the car. The first time I learned about the Kia brand, one of the guys in my high school football team came driving down to practice in a brand new Sportage.  It was the pinnacle of awesome!  I still can remember that it was gold similar to the color of Champagne.  Fast forward 14 years,  and here I am sitting in a brand new 2014 Kia Sorento, fully decked out and top of the line. Kia has come a long way since that time, from an unknown, budget brand, localized to first time car buyers to taking that next step along with the Toyota’s and Nissan’s of the world. When I stepped into the Kia Sorento the first thing I said to myself was WOW.  As I mentioned in the first impression video I was really knocked out by the great interior.  Obviously, the Sorento I tried out happened to be a fully equipped with all … [Read more...]

Have you visited 1 of the new 35 full-line Microsoft retail stores with theaters or 31 Microsoft specialty stores throughout the United States? No?! Charmin Celebrating Latina Mama Bears Everywhere! #MamaBear

Mama, Divina y X

This is part of a sponsored campaign with Charmin and Latina Mom Bloggers. However, all opinions expressed are my own. Mama Bears do a lot of hard work and take pride in being savvy, efficient and able to juggle lots of things, including the family budget. This is my Mama Bear. She is the most beautiful, kindest and brilliant woman that you will meet. She taught me to be strong, never give up, use my intelligence to solve any problem and above all find time to laugh and dance.  She came from Paraguay with just a little more than a determination, courage and a dream of a better life. Because of her hard work and sacrifice along with mi papa’s I am the woman I am today. I thank God every day for her and can only hope I am just as great a Mami as she was to me and my sisters. Do have a Mama Bear in your life? That woman who works hard, puts herself last and above all makes tomorrow a better day? What makes her a Mama Bear? Her strength? Her wit? Her drive? Her … [Read more...]
