
by Eddy Most know the character Conan as the break out role of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1982 classic film Conan the Barbarian. Yet few know that Conan has appeared in comics, short stories and books as far back as the 1930’s. Other than the movies (Conan the Barbarian & Conan the Destroyer) which as a child of the 80’s I absolutely loved, I was also a big fan of the cartoon, Conan the Adventurer, that had come out in 1992 (so much so, that even 19 years later I once and a while find myself still singing the theme song). To my absolute joy and surprise, the first season of the show was released on DVD on July 26th. I had the good fortune of being able to receive a copy to watch and review with the help of Big Brother. Conan the Adventure, follows the adventure of Conan and his band of allies (Jezmine, Snagg, Needle, Greywolf and Zula) as they fight against the evil powers of the God Set in an attempt to save his parents who were turned into stone.
