Disclosure: We received a review copy of Identity Thief.  This post represents my unbiased opinion. Identity Thief brings together two of the hottest names currently in Hollywood, Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) and Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) and partner them up in a single movie.  Identity Thief is brought to life by these two great comedic actors as well as the creative people behind Ted and Horrible Bosses.  The movie attempts to pull off a Midnight Run style movie. Meaning two opposite personalities are stuck together either by circumstances or physical restraint and must travel across the country dodging danger.   Other movies have attempted to do the same thing; some have been great (48 Hours) and some no so (Another 48 Hours).  Identity Thief fall  right in the middle.  For the most part, it is buoyed by the comedic timing and skills of McCarthy and Bateman.
