The Help Movie Review

The Help Movie Poster

By Divina Last week during my BlogHer 2011 weekend, I was invited to a special prescreening of the latest release from DreamWorks Studios based on Kathryn Stockett’s best-selling novel is about African American maids played by Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer living in Jackson, Mississippi during in the 1960s just before the Civil Rights Movement and how one Southern debutante (Emma Stone) wanted to hear and publish their point of view. Or the chilling ‘liquid-metal' T-1000 (played by lean Robert Patrick) sprinting after his targets and shape-shifting with the help of never before seen special effects. This fourth installment, given an … [Read more...]
