(video) Star Wars Kinect Review and Sweepstake

Update: Congrats to the winners. To some older fans of Star Wars, this might be going against the grain a bit, but I really liked Star Wars Kinect. Yes you can head on to the internet and check read how it doesn’t have this…or it doesn’t have that…but the main point that most of the reviewers are forgetting is that this game is for kids. Not only was it accessible for Rock, who is almost 4, to play competently in the game, but I was able to have a great time submerging myself in the fun. In my opinion there are more hits than misses in the game. Star Wars Kinect is a game divided into 4 smaller games. I hesitate to call them mini games because they are much longer than what you would expect in a mini game compilation. In addition, most of the games can be played by two people at the same time except for the pod racing game. (Video) Uncle Milton Darth Maul Lightsaber Room Light

Probably the best thing (and only thing) to come out of the Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was the introduction of the dual blade lightsaber. With that said, what little boy (or big boy in my case) is not going to love falling asleep to the warm glow of a lightsaber, it is just too perfect. Uncle Milton really did me a favor, not only does it make me a hero to my son to help him build his lightsaber night light but I get to further introduce him to the Star Wars lore. Check out my assessment and assembly of the room light below: Also included as part of the instructions, is a color poster with various cool Star Wars facts about Darth Maul (the bad guy who wields the double lightsaber) as well as a brief history of the character. In addition, the poster breaks out some real science information regarding electricity and how some of the technology in real life can relate to lightsabers.
