Considering that I was 4 years old when Jem first hit the airwaves until the series ended and over 20 years later I was squealing with excitement when I heard that the entire series from the Geniuses at Shout! Factory, and Hasbro Inc., will come out on October 11, 2011 basically means that my love for Jem has not left even after all these years. Jem is the story of Jerrica Benton, who with the help of Synergy (you can tell from these two names that the show was created in the 80’s), a computer, and transforms into the Rock star: Jem.  She is helped in her battle against an evil record executive and his minions by her sister and best friends who make up her backup band, The Holograms.
