By Eddy The great thing about video games is that you actually take part in the story and not just sit on the sidelines as a bystander.  The great potential of video games based on movies, is that you are transported to the very scenes and moments in the movie and are able to participate.  Unfortunately, due to amount of time movies are in theatres and in the public's consciousness it leaves very little time to develop a well made video game for everyone to play.  Considering the number of movie based video games there are out there, it would not be a stretch to say that there are an handful that are actually good. The thing that Toy Story 3 has going for it, was the fact that the video game was in development for 2 years before the game was released, which is practically a lifetime.
