
By Eddy I guess so much can be expected from a Mickey Mouse clip with a bunch of brooms and music, or for those more learned readers a poem by Goethe (none the less it all the same premise). Having said that, you are probably better watching Fantasia or digging up the poem once again instead of wasting your cash on this movie and I only spent $4.50. The Sorcerer's Apprentice is not funny enough to be a good kid's movie and not smart enough for adults. So where does that leave us? Well, I can tell you where it leaves this film...with a lot of empty seats. The plot is as follows: Nic Cage is one of Merlin's three apprentices who help him fight against the ultimate evil in the Sorceress Morgana. The three apprentices consist of Cage, Alfred Molina, and Monica Belluci.
