Almost instantly it seems in addition to that feeling of freedom all the wonderful knowledge I learned during that school year disappeared instantly. By Divina A few weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to New York City for a media event to launch the 2011 “Just Think, Puerto Rican Rum” campaign. You have probably seen the commercials but famous Puerto Rican rum manufactors; Bacardi, Don Q, Ron Llave Palo Viejo and Rum de Barrilito have put aside market competition to focus on a joint campaign that focuses on the “orgullo” or pride that rum is to the island. A pride based on great quality and tradition. A pride that is extremely popular in the U.S. with approximately 70% of the rums consumed in the U.S. produced in Puerto Rico. The “Just Think, Puerto Rican Rum” campaign is part of an overall “Just Think” campaign that will be promoting Puerto Rico as the ultimate vacation spot. This campaign hits home since I married a Puerto Rican and know just how beautiful the island is.
