Not all Dad’s need to be cinemaphiles, basically if you add enough action and explosions we will watch anything once.  If you need evidence of this you need only look at the long and illustrious careers of Sly Stallone, Van Damme, Schwarzenegger…basically everyone who has appeared in Expendables 1 and 2.  When I sat down to watch Safe House I came into it wanting to chill out and watch some good old fashion action.  Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington do a great job as a CIA babysitter and the most dangerous man in the world respectively.  Reynolds must keep Washington alive while avoiding getting killed himself by either Washington or the other guys pursuing them.
