By Eddy Before I go into the review let me give you some insight into how I ended up watching Hancock.  Due to fortuitous happenstance, my wife and I had a babysitter (my Mom), allowing us the opportunity to get out the house for a bit and stave off re-enacting scenes from "The Shining". Unfortunately, due to the fact that we really haven't left our home for anything fun, including the movies, we had a extensive backlog of films that were REALLY wanted to see, actually not so much for me, as I got to see "Hulk" and have been biding my time for "The Dark Knight".  My wife on the other hand, HAD to see "Sex in the City", as her reputation as a woman hinged on her watching all the crazy hi-jinx that Carrie and the girls get themselves into.  As same sex marriages are currently illegal in the state of Connecticut, I felt it necessary to escort my wife to the movies so that she may remain "officially" a woman.
